This halloween I decided to hang fly to Austin Texas, with a few friends of mine. As a tribute to this mask clad holiday, we decided to stay at the Driskill Hotel, right from 6th Street. We were told that it is one of the Most Haunted Hotels in the United States, ghossts with at least 4 residence.

When we arrived the staff was amazingly nice and helpful. We asked our spooky rooms and were given a room in the historic part of the hotel.

Roomswere neat and clean and the bathrooms beautifully designed with glossy black tiles. The bathtub / shower was bizarre, did not push the door, but to the outside open. Western-style paintings on the walls, and made you feel as though you have stepped back in time.

We have changed very quickly, and went into the 6th Street where a parade of Halloween schoolgirls, vampires and dark angels roamed the streets.
On the way out, we participated in the free Halloween snacks that the hotel offered.The clubs and restaurants were filled with revelry, good food and cold libations. The music was fantastic, but also with every flavor of music that you can imagine.

We returned to our room much later to find chocolate mints on our pillows, and rejected the blanket.

There were no ghosts that night, but the beautiful memories of this hotel's hospitality is our memory for years to come follow.
